Host your own Special Event
for Gilda’s Club!

It just takes a little creativity and time to make a difference in the lives of those living with cancer.  Together with your network of neighborhood and community groups, co-workers, family and friends, you can host or coordinate a party, activity, sale or create your own unique fundraiser!  No matter how small or how large, your contribution will help us continue to provide free cancer support to your family, neighbors and friends whose lives are touched by cancer.

Some ideas for easy fundraisers, or just use your imagination!

 
• Pot Luck Giving Circle Dinner
  Everyone brings a dinner and donates what they would have spent on a dinner out.

• Dinner Out
  Ask your favorite restaurant to donate a portion of the night’s proceeds and pack the restaurant with your friends.

• Yard Sale
  Clean out your closet, and invite neighbors to join you!

• Holiday Cocktails
  Invite friends for a holiday celebration and coordinate a raffle or silent auction as part of the festivities. 
  Ask neighborhood establishments to donate gift cards or in-kind prizes.

• Bake Sale
  Get the neighborhood together for sweet treats for a good cause.

• Birthday Party
  Ask friends for donations in lieu of gifts, or raffle off a gift basket from your favorite neighborhood establishment.

• Car Wash
  Set up shop at local school and ask neighborhood kids to volunteer.
